That's a great post idea: my favorite journalist-bloggers. Thanks for the suggestion Pramit.

Interesting work you're doing at home. Crisis brings change, unfortunately. Expensive gas makes Americans think about green technology and failing newspapers make us look for solutions. You're smart to learn from our lessons and start the transition.

Great Post.

I came to this blog hoping for a look at your list of your favorite New Media Bloggers but this is a fine list as well. Out here, in India I have yet to see a proper connect between so-called MSM reporters and bloggers. I have written about it on My MediaVidea blog.

Maybe reporters in India are not that serious about new media because Newspapers continue to be big, booming business here.

I hope to convert some of these reporters via Bighow.com, the free all-in-one publishing tool that I have been working on for 2 years.

Again, all the best.

I remeber reading Third and Indiana in high school. What amazed me about the book, besides its vivid imagery and its roots in North Philadelphia, was that it was one of my first views into drug dealing and its role in the community, for better or (really) worse. I've seen and experienced that type of mentality first hand. It is difficult to comprehend how dealers think and act the way they do, let alone to describe it with all the aspects of journalistic integrity and leave the audience to make their own judgement. I can see why you admire and respect him.
